An ongoing exploration of cyanotype printing, documented through a series of moving-image studies that follow the process from coating to exposure to wash-out. The work focuses less on the final print and more on the transformation that happens along the way: the matte sensitivity of the wet chemistry, the gradual shift from pale green to deep Prussian blue under UV light, the blooming of contrast as the paper touches water for the first time.The footage captures each stage as a visual event, brushstrokes drying on paper, shadows developing into shape, pigment dispersing like ink clouds in rinse trays. Though abstract in composition, the videos remain technically precise, offering a close look at a historical photographic method where time, light, and chemistry perform the image rather than record it.
